Selma Saidi is a professor at TU Dortmund since November 2019. She leads the new chair of Embedded Systems at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Her research interests involve different software and hardware aspects of embedded systems design, implementation, validation, and verification. Key focus is on developing novel techniques for system level performance analysis of highly parallel and heterogeneous embedded architectures, in particular Multiprocessor Systems-on-chips (MPSoCs), efficient and predictable solutions for shared network and memory resources management, hardware and software co-design of adaptive and autonomous systems.

Selma Saidi received in 2013 a doctorate degree in computer sciences from the University of Grenoble in France conducted together with STMicroelectronics. After her PhD, she joined the Technical University of Braunschweig as a Postdoctoral researcher and later Hamburg University of Technology as a permanent research scientist. She serves regularly as program committee member in leading conferences in embedded systems design and real-time systems such as DATE, DAC and RTSS.
