New Trends in Embedded Systems (Oberseminar)

General Information

In this seminar, you will immerse into the latest trends from the domain of embedded systems. Choose from a broad range of scientific papers published at the most recent domain-specific international conferences, expand your knowledge and develop expertise.

After receiving an introduction into scientific writing, you are supposed to write a report on your topic of choice and, based on the report, give a scientific presentation of the topic to your colleagues and supervisors.

During the entire seminar, you will be given the opportunity to establish a tight feedback loop with your supervisors in order to enhance your skills in scientific writing, presenting, and scientific working in general. You are strongly encouraged to make use of this offer, since this seminar serves as boot camp for your potential future Master thesis.

Modalities

  • This seminar will be taught virtually.
  • The teaching language is English.
  • Attending the Zoom meetings is mandatory.
  • The report must comprise 2 pages in IEEE double column format.
  • The language of the report and the presentation must be English.
  • The presentation should take approximately 20 minutes + 5 minutes discussion.
  • All materials will be provided in a Moodle room. Participants are added to the Moodle room after registering.
  • Registration is possible via mail.
