Hardware/Software Co-design is the discipline that exploits the synergism of hardware and software through their concurrent design in order to meet system-level objectives. In this lecture, you will learn the design of complex electronic systems at high level of abstractions. This includes the optimized partitioning, scheduling and evaluation of mixed hardware and software design solutions dedicated to embedded systems, system-level design paradigms, modeling and performance analysis of safety-critical and real-time embedded systems.
The slides and exercises will be uploaded via moodle and the lectures will be offered in a streaming fashion via Zoom (or Webex) in the planned time slots for the lecture.

By attending this course, students will learn the design of complex electronic systems at high level of abstractions. This includes the optimized partitioning, scheduling and evaluation of mixed hardware and software design solutions dedicated to embedded systems. The tutorial sessions will present advanced related topics in HW/SW codesign and performance analysis for safety-critical and real-time embedded systems.
